The most recent years some new talented female atists has appeared at the Danish music scene. Nabiha, Fallulah, Ohland, Freja Loeb and Agnes Obel - just to mention a few.
Among those interesting new artists is the 19 year old Emma Acs. I heard her first time in May 2011 (se my photos here) in Fælledparken in Copenhagen. Unfortunately I missed the very start at the May-performance, so this time I got the entire concert.
At this concert
two of the musicians were replaced by other artists. The zitherplayer, Atusa Zamani, was in USA, so Vicky Singh played the zither this night, and bassplayer, Adam Olsson, played with Sort Sol, and he was replaced by Tobias Winberg.
Emma Acs & The Inbred Family plays in the "60's Revival Style" which also bands like Hymns From Nineveh and Rumour Said Fire represents. The use of the zithar reminds me of the music from my youth in the 60's.
This night we got two new untitled songs (04 and 10), still merely with working titles, and one non-album song (12).
The concert opened with a beautiful zither solo of Green Stars & An Orange Sun, but the band didn't follow the set list (see below and at the bottom) completely.
